Many of us spend hours of travelling to jobs we don’t enjoy. Others of us recognise we need a change, some are facing retirement and wondering where to invest their time and new found freedom! The Firework Career Coaching Programme has been carefully tailored using research into best practice in career evaluation and transition, backed up by many years of experience.

The programme aims to take the client along a journey from not knowing what their next step might be, through to having a clear vision of a career that is right for them, and a plan for how to create it . You can investigate in a highly personalised, cost effective way how to find your way through the career maze with someone dedicated to your best interests with clearly focussed sessions of thinking and planning.

Career planning sessions consist of three phases:

Explore during which the client really gets to know themselves
Personality type
Keys to personal success for that type - values and preferences
Preferred work environment
Professional strengths, achievements and motivators
Identifying gifts and abilities - includes a feedback exercise
Life purpose exercise

Dream In this second phase, the client’s own creativity and resourcefulness is drawn upon to create new career possibilities. The aim is to think outside of the box and not to be constrained by traditional notions of what is possible. The most attractive ideas will be explored and narrowed down to between one and three possibilities that the client will start to make happen in the final part of the programme.

Discover
This is the part of the programme where the client will investigate the top possibility that was generated in the Dream phase. A creative and empowering process is used to allow the client to turn their vision for an exciting career that’s right for them, into a soundly based action plan to make it happen.

Number of telephone sessions around 12 and can also be run as small group workshops.
